Greg Scott is President of Merevir Consulting, a Washington, D.C.-based lobbying and political consulting firm. Greg is an attorney and lobbyist with over 35 years of experience representing clients and trade associations before Congress and the federal administrative agencies. Greg started his professional career as a congressional staffer before attending law school and joining the law firm of Kelley, Drye and Warren – eventually rising to serve as a partner in the firm. Greg’s career shifted into the non-profit trade association world when he served as the Executive Vice President and General Counsel of the American Petrochemical and Fuels Manufacturers and as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Portland Cement Association. Greg started his consulting firm six years ago and represents a diverse set of clients ranging from the American Car Rental Association to Geotab to the Global Alliance for Vehicle Data Access. Greg lives in Virginia with his partner Julie, their dogs Jazz and Coda, and his daughter Meredith.
